Checked out several suburbs this trip, Strathfield being one of them. Strathfield is the train interchange station between four lines, and we passed by it often. Today, we are here to do another pre-loved collection. It’s been a wonderful experience interacting with previous owners, and a chance for us to recce different areas.

Lunch at Strathfield Square. There are many options, but somehow I keep going where the banh mi appears! No regrets! Turn out to be the best crackling pork banh mi we had in Sydney so far. Wish I had done an audio as I sink my teeth into those yummy bites!

It’s an hour walk to where we are heading, which became longer because of the stopover at Strathfield Park Playground. Children are so fortunate here, look at the green open spaces and play facilities to expend their energies. We became kids too!

Lining the streets are houses, huge and many built on bricks, with huge front porch and garage. Sure looks like an affluent suburb!

And the many gum trees along the road! Where are you Kookabura? I miss your laughter!

After collecting the heater – yes it’s getting colder now – we retraced our steps, returned to Strathfield Square, and went back the the Vietnamese eatery again! It’s really good, and authentic stuff
